When should I consider calling an electrician?You should consider calling an electrician when you are faced with a situation where you're not sure what's the right way to do something. I've seen many situations where an incorrectly fixed or added electrical solution almost cost a family their home.
Why would I need a new electrical circuit?You may need a new electrical circuit in the following scenarios:
- When you update an appliance or piece of equipment in your home and the new device repeatedly trips or overloads your current circuit.
- When or if you are adding to your home for a new project
What do I do if my circuit keeps overloading?If your electrical circuit keeps overloading, you need to check what all is being used in the particular circuit and see if you can reduce or eliminate something. If not, then an additional circuit should be added.
I have too many power strips behind my entertainment center and want to reduce the clutter. How can Living Water Electrical Co. help me? Living Water Electrical Co. Can help by adding an additional outlet to your space. We will also assess and make suggestions as to if certain things can or need to be relocated because they are a fire hazard or unsafe in anyway.
Do you install ceiling fans?All the time! If you have any other questions on what we can or cannot install, give us a call!
Can you change an existing switch to a dimmer switch?Absolutely! Making electrical changes to your home is our job. We would love to help with all of your projects no matter the size.
Why is a breaker in my panel feel hot to touch?Most causes of overheating are caused by loose connections, old equipment, or overloading of a circuit. This should be checked by an experienced electrician to officially diagnose.
How can I tell when an electrical outlet is not safe or needs to be replaced?You know that an electrical outlet is not safe when an appliance or device that you plug in doesn't stay consistently powered or if it will not stay in the outlet.
Emergency Services?We don't do immediate emergency services at this time but for most urgent cases we are able to get to you within 1-2 days.
How long will it take for you to get to me?This will fully depend on how busy we are of course, but usually within 2 weeks for normal service work, or 1-2 days for more urgent cases.
What qualifies as an emergency?An emergency would constitute as one of the following: potential fire hazard, or major power loss.

How much does an emergency call cost?Prices will always vary but emergency calls typically cost $150.00
